Qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist nearly two decades ago at the University of Brighton Nick moved to Cambridge, working at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for the next five years completing his Junior and Senior rotations.

Whilst completing these rotations across a wide variety of specialities he commenced his MSc in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire, gaining membership to the Musculoskeletal Associated of Chartered Physiotherapists on completion.

In 2010 he began working with the Ministry of Defence overseeing the clinical management of injured Military Personnel. Alongside this he started work in Private Practice in a well-established clinic in Cambridge. He continued to work in Private practice for 10 years working with a range of clients and conditions from recreational to national level athletes, paediatrics to elderly patients.

In 2019 Nick moved back to Norfolk with his family, initially working at the Spire Hospital leading the Outpatient Physiotherapy team. Nick currently works in a GP practice as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP). This is a nation-wide developing service where patients and GP’s can refer directly into a Physiotherapy assessment service. Both the Spire and FCP work has greatly increased his knowledge of local NHS pathways and acute management.

In 2023 Nick converted an annexe attached to his family home and set up NR Physiotherapy.

Outside of work Nick enjoys quality family time, hiking, running, weight-training, paddle boarding and one day getting back to golf!
